Women in the fascinating hair style of "Marumage" pray for their happy marriage and march the street in full bloom of Himi.

◇Kurikara-san Yae-zakura (double flowering cherry blossoms) Festival

6,000 trees of double flowering cherry is in their full glory at the Genpei Kurikara Historic Battlefield where Genji had won in Kagyu no kei. "Yakuyoke Nenbutsu (a prayer to Buddha to ward off evil) Red Rice-cake Making" is held at Kurikara Fudo Temple on April 28 & 29.
