Information about transportation and parking lots


We carry out "Park and Ride" system in which we enter the place by parking our cars at the public parking lot and changing into public transportation.


  • Manyo Line…Please use the parking lot of the City Hall, JA Hall and Takaoka Commerce & Industry Building. We give a free round-trip ticket of Manyo Line in front of Shikino Junior High School, Hirokoji streetstop.
  • Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

We give a discount fare ticket to the person who doesn't "Park and Ride".

  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Shuttle Bus…There is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes (free) from Takaoka Sports Core.

Community Bus "Komichi" changes the route during Nabe Festival and doesn't run the stop of Otaya Street and in front of Takaoka Daibutsu. Manyo Line runs extra trains during the busy time zone. Extra trains are operated between Katahara-machi and Yonejima-guchi.
