●Do you know Benefits for High-Cost Medical Care of National Health Insurance?
When your payment of the medical expenses (except for the food cost, the room charge, the patient cloth, etc)
becomes large amount of money, the amount that exceeds the self-load allowance is reimbursed by application.
◆When you can receive the benefits for high-cost medical care
1. When the medical cost paid by the same person, in the same month, in the same medical institution,
in the same doctor's fee (in the case of hospitalized, you can add up the different doctor's fees.)
exceeds the self-load allowance.
2. When you paid 2 times or more of the medical cost of 21000 yen or more in the same month, in the same household,
in each medical institution and that adds up to exceed the self-load allowance.
※When the high-cost medical care applies 4 times or more in the last 12 months,
the amount of the self-load allowance is lowered after the 4 times.
◆Calculation of the self-load allowance
1. Person of high-ranked income (the household whose total income is over 600,000 yen)
150,000 yen ＋ (the medical cost − 500,000 yen) × 1% (after 4 times, 83,400 yen)
2. Household in which the City Tax is taxed
80,100 yen ＋ (the medical cost − 267,000 yen) × 1% (after 4 times, 44,400 yen)
3. Household in which the City Tax is tax-free
35,400 yen (after 4 times, 24,600 yen)

●The prompt report is necessary when a pension recipient or a subscriber died.
When a pension recipient or a subscriber died, the bereaved family must do the report within 14 days.
If the report was late, the pension may be paid after the day of death.
The bereaved family must return the overpaid pension.
